Ein Fall kommt erst auf diese Seite, wenn vier Dinge zutreffen: die Person oder ihre Behandelnden haben ihn selbst veröffentlicht, mit einer nachprüfbaren Quelle; er lässt sich einem der Wege zuordnen; er benennt, was er tatsächlich gekostet hat — an Zeit, an Geld und an einer Einrichtung, die mitgezogen hat; und er benennt, was zuerst versucht wurde und scheiterte. Ein Fall, der das nicht alles erfüllt, ist eine Anekdote — und eine Anekdote, gelesen von jemandem, der keine Möglichkeiten mehr hat, ist schlimmer als eine leere Seite.
